I dont have Wag'z dynochart with A/F on it, so that wasn't posted. Here is Dee's dynochart:
Peacemaker failed due to a Ferrea valvetrain issue, which was covered before in previous posts. I spent a good bit of time with Ferrea to convince them to use inconel valves for the intake, and this has corrected their problem. Russell's car had problems on the dyno as it lifted the heads. This was a mechanical issue solely for the fact that it was making as much power as it did and we were testing stock head gaskets. It dumped a good bit of water on the run, but it drove back to the shop on its own power, headbolts were torqued down, and AFAIK, it is still running on that engine. We will have to hear from Russell. But my point with Russ's car is primarily the A/F ratio target. Chris Damatos' original dynochart is in that list. When his car was retuned, it was showing signs of a failing fuel pump, which was posted about and duly noted. He chose to take it to the drag strip and run it in that condition, and it damaged the engine. I cannot account for that with the ECU program. The pictures of my bearings posted were from my own car, which I drove on the ragged edge. In addition to this, that shortblock was purchased by Bob at Z1 and used in his car for some time before the bottom end developed a knock, at which time it was disassembled. What I do with my own car, and what I do with other people's cars are two different things. I develop products on my own car and put it through the rigors so that I break my parts in testing, not other car owners.
